Grass straws use only 1 material : Lepironia Articulata. They are known as gray sedges, a genus of the sedge family. This grass is gray in color and is grown in and on the banks of freshwater marshes. Lepironia can be grown in inland climates if it is protected from the cold. Previously, Vietnamese farmers used this grass to make handicraft products such as knitting cushions, carpets, sunshades, baskets, hats and cottages, etc.
Currently, the production facilities have creatively used the raw materials of the plant to make environmentally friendly natural straws that are absolutely safe for users.
